STONEY LITTLETON LONG BARROW

Stoney Littleton Long Barrow is just outside Wellow and one of the best known in the area, it was built between 4000 and 2500BC.
Within the barrow are three side chambers and an end chamber, human bones were recovered during excavations carried out in 1816.
