Green Park Bath.

I found this negative among old family pictures; I can’t identify anybody in the picture, but have included it for historical interest.
I would guess it was taken the 1940s at the end of Green Park looking up Charles Street.
It’s probable that the children are from Green Park School; notice the Spears lorry outside Green Park Station (now Sainsbury car park) note also the buildings now long gone on the right in Charles Street.

World Society for the Protection of Animals.

I’ve been taking pictures for the WSPA today.
Local university students in Bath dressed up as farm animals to promote the World Society for the Protection of Animals first ever farm animal themed fun run, the City Stampede, which will take place on Sunday 10th May.

Cavendish Lodge Bath.

This picture for The Bath Chronicle was taken in 1993 at the end of the public enquiry into the building of Cavendish Lodge.
You can see the planning inspector in a large open field on the slope below Lansdown Crescent, though it does look like the jungle.

The appeal was won and this is the result taken today.

Welcome to Nottingham

We are in Nottingham at the moment, it’s just like Bath
they greet visitors with a £50 parking ticket in the
first hour to ensure they don't stay!

The streets have a mixture old and new buildings,
I don’t think they would get away with this in Bath.

It seems all Trams and Ferris Wheels!
This is for Nicky and Helen.
Off to York on Tuesday, hope we get a better welcome there!
