Human Cannonball David Smith Jnr

I’m just back from the Royal Bath and West show and photographed Human Cannonball David Smith Jnr again.
This time I couldn’t resist making a composite picture as Dave is fired at 60mph to a height of 75 feet across the arena landing in a very small net.

I reckon that's quite a big net actually.

You’re right I would guess the net is about ten by twelve metres, but it’s all relative, I certainly wouldn’t want to use a smaller net even if I had the guts to do it.
But remember that David was doing it twice a day in all winds and weather; he even did it on the Wednesday of the show when it rained so hard I opted to sit inside for an hour and listen to David Cameron in the dry.
