Donkey Sanctuary at Sidmouth

Great Dogs but just visiting.

Its good being a donkey when the suns out!

I’m top dog!

David climbs the fence after Tabby dropped
her hat, but wasn’t mauled by the donkeys.

Sidmouth Regatta

Grenville Jones and Bath Male Choir

I was sorry to see The Bath Male Choir was knocked out of Last Choir Standing on TV last night, but they did well to get into the last five.
I have known Grenville since 1977 when I photographed the front cover for this LP by his barbershop group “Five in a Bar” The group included two serving police officers and a court official.

BBC model B

This Nicky with our first computer, a BBC model B we bought in the early 80s.
The 32K machine cost £330 and you had to plug it in to a TV and load programmes from your cassette recorder.
The £330 in the 80s is equivalent to over £1000 at today’s prices.

Bristol International Balloon Fiesta

David and Helen took the children to see the Bristol Balloon Fiesta on Friday,
They were up at 5am and having a Coco Pops picnic by 6am.
Unfortunately the weather was bad, wind blowing towards Bristol Airport so they didn’t see any flying.
But the children enjoyed it.

A Nide of pleasant pheasants!

Driving Home tonight I came across this Nide of
young pheasants,
I think that’s the right collective noun
for a group of pheasants on the ground.
