Wedding Pictures
September 1970 Wendy sorts wedding pictures in our old Mini, during our honeymoon.
This started two days after our wedding as we opened our shop in the Abbey Church Yard on the Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday.

Hook Ladders
My Father was in the brigade during the Second World War, and was retired after injuring himself with one of these ladders.
The idea was to smash a first floor window with the spike on the end, climb the ladder and sit astride the window ledge pulling the ladder up to the next window.

Bath Half Marathon
In particular news editor Paul Wiltshire has taken the challenge to raise money for Click Sargent.
Now I sit opposite Paul some days and always thought his only form of exercise was to walk to the kitchen to collect his lunch box.
So come on Sponsor him at www.justgiving.com/paulwiltshire and let’s all give him a gentle push with a donation.
This is an unusual view of the Chronicle team posing for a photograph; Paul is second from the right.

G-Wiz Electric car

Today I spotted this G-Wiz in Larkhall, it costs £6999 and runs for around a penny a mile.
The only snag is it’s range is only 45 miles, great in central

Goodbye Ian
Wendy and I were sad at the sudden-death of Ian Richardson, who was well known for his role as scheming chief whip Francis Urquhart in the BBC TV series 'House of Cards'.
He died unexpectedly aged 72 with his final performance as the voice of Death in the TV adaptation of my old friend Terry Pratchett’s Hogfather shown on Sky at Christmas.
Ian was a true gentleman and I last photographed him in September 2005 at Bath Theatre Royal.
As you can see from the picture he was always keen to help, even holding the reflector for the photographers to photograph his Co-Star.
As Wendy is a great fan of House of cards I dropped a picture back for to him to sign for her.
To her surprise he took it to her work and delivered it in person, he then posted us a handwritten note of thanks for the prints I sent him.

Wrestling in Bath
About six years ago Mad Eli organised a free wresting tournament in Kingston Parade.
To raise money for various charities, here are a couple of my snaps.
