First Instant Picture

About 65 years ago we lived over our newsagents at 10 Abbey Churchyard, One of our customers was Joe Fowden from Kingston Parade, who was from an old family of showmen working around fairs.
One day he brought a very large camera to take my picture in the Churchyard and though I don’t remember all the details of how he took the picture, then used part of the camera as a changing bag and produced a damp print within a few minutes.
The print is very faded now and I wonder if that started my lifelong interest in photography.
Here’s another old instant print, a Polaroid this time of Wendy and I taken about almost 50 years ago

Google Lens Blur

This picture was taken today with a Nexus 4 camera application using Lens Blur for SLR-like photos with shallow depth of field by raising the camera with the subject centred; the amazing thing for an old photographer is the focus can be changed after the picture is taken and saves the data to the picture for later re focusing.
