New Table

Neighbour Neil Robertson with the unique 8 seater dining table he has made by hand for Nicky and Andy's new kitchen dining room.
 Andy helps attach the legs.
Minnie would help if she could.

Harry Ramsdens in Cardiff

When we visit Cardiff it's a regular walk down to the Bay for Harry Ramsdens. A check on the internet told us the had no space, but we needed the exercise and walked down anyway to find less than a dozen people in the restaurant. We were very disappointed this time, decor looking tatty and fish and chips very average, in fact there are better chip shops in Bradford on Avon.

St Mary's Priory, Abergavenny

The Tithe Barn of the Priory Church has been restored.
 It contains a small shop.
An excellent little cafe, that does a good selection of food including all day breakfast.

 A display and education room.
And the magnificent Abergavenny Tapestry that was designed by Susie Martin and created by a group of over 60 local volunteers, as a way of celebrating the new millennium in 2000.
Whoops almost forgot the Priory, it was founded in 1087 as a Benedictine Priory.
