This Is the Blog of the Farr family, Sam and Wendy Farr and their Daughters Nichola and Helen plus their husbands Andy Higby and David Mattock. They all live in the Bath Area. Sam works as a freelance photographer, Andy and Nicky run a service improvement business working in mental health and social care and David works in IT. David and Helen have our two Granddaughters, Tabitha and Lottie.

The new weekly Bath Chronicle was launched today.
With over 250 pages it dwarfed my newsagent this morning.

They did me the honour of a four-pages Sam Farr through rose coloured spectacles special on Monday
Combe Hay PPC had cream teas in the Church today to raise money for the Church development fund.
Fran 12 and Esther 11 collected the money and made over £130 despite not having NVQs in customer care!
With our granddaughter Lottie looking this good at two,
I think she’s going to grow up a Glamorous girl!

Back on-line at last, in our house we have two dogs, Storm sitting left is a bit slow old and careful (like Wendy).
The other is Paddy immature, impulsive and stupid (like Sam).
Today’s picture shows Paddy throwing himself into a brick wall as he tries to catch a wasp in his mouth!
Wendy taken this week after we washed her hair for the send time in two weeks. Because of her detached retina she can’t bend over or get her eye wet.
So I’ve have been washing her hair with her sitting upright on a plastic garden chair under the shower with her eyes covered.
Her sight is getting better every day.
The roads around our village seem full
of giant combine harvesters,
as the farmers make the most of
the last of summer sun.
